Mack Kyles

Psychotherapist · Combat Veteran  Human Performance + Potential
Background

Twenty years of clinical work that was never theoretical.

Emergency rooms at 3 AM. Combat deployments. Family court testimony. Addiction treatment. Suicide crisis intervention. The work has taken many forms — all of it in the middle of what is actually happening to people.

As a combat veteran, Mack learned something clinical training alone cannot teach: that people under extreme pressure make decisions differently, and that the right kind of presence — steady, informed, and without alarm — changes outcomes.

He applies that understanding now in a very different kind of environment. The clients he serves are not in crisis because they are weak. They are in crisis because what they carry is genuinely heavy, and no one around them is qualified to say so.

His work sits at the intersection of clinical expertise and human performance — two disciplines that, when combined with a military operator’s instinct for situation assessment, produce something that standard therapy and standard coaching do not.

He is also a single father. Family is not background to the work — it is the reason for it.

Three Disciplines. One Practice.

Combat Veteran

Military service develops a specific kind of situational intelligence — the ability to assess, prioritize, and act under pressure without losing clarity. That instinct does not leave when the uniform does. It shapes every clinical engagement.

Psychotherapist

Twenty years across crisis intervention, addiction, trauma, family systems, marriage and family therapy, and suicide prevention. The clinical foundation is broad and it is deep. He has seen most of what can happen to people — and knows what to do about it.

Human Performance

The people he serves are performers — executives, athletes, founders, public figures. The psychological demands of sustained high performance are distinct from standard clinical presentations. This work is calibrated to that reality.
